From accounting probes to investigations into whistleblower retaliation claims, big companies and financial institutions are getting plenty of government scrutiny these days. More is expected in 2014. So it only makes sense that law firms are beefing up their white-collar defense practices. The latest to do so: King & Spalding LLP, which is bringing on two attorneys from Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. Partners Dixie Johnson and Bill Johnson, who are not related, are moving over to King & Spalding on Monday.
