Prosecutors Will Seek the Death Penalty in Aurora Shootings
Prosecutors will seek the death penalty against James Holmes, accused of 12 first degree murders and scores of other crimes in a mass shooting at a movie theater near Denver last July, they said in a court hearing in Centennial, Colo. Read the WSJ story here. “For, James Eagan Holmes, justice is death,” District Attorney George Brauchler said. Judge Sylvester said at the time that the defense would have a chance to change the plea later.
