Justices face more pressure over recusals

U.S. Supreme Court justices almost never publicly explain their recusal decisions, but that longstanding tradition is increasingly coming under fire. The New York City Bar Association has added its voice to those urging the justices to publicly explain their decisions to bow out of -- or stay in -- cases before them.
