A jury determined that drug makers hid cancer risks associated with the diabetes medicine, Actos, from the public. Complications stemming from transvaginal mesh and lawsuits by women against the manufacturers is another case of how a defective product can have a huge impact on a life. Zohydro, a controversial painkiller is making waves when it comes to prescription drug abuse.
