Cyber Crimes Viewed as Separate Acts, Not Criminal Enterprise

New York state's high court has thrown out four defendants' enterprise corruption indictments after finding that they were acting in their own interests and that their involvement in what prosecutors called a "cybercrime group" did not qualify as a criminal enterprise under the state's Organized Crime Control Act.
